Postage Policy
Poopost use Royal Mail to get your package to you as fast as possible while keeping costs down. Our Poopost test kits (worm counts, lungworm, pinworm, farm animal & accessories) are posted out to you via Royal Mail 1st class for free, with the option to upgrade to special delivery (guaranteed next working day after dispatch) for an additional cost.
Equisal tests are sent via a tracked insured service with Royal Mail 1st class. Due to the increased cost of sending these kits out there is a postage charge of £2 on these items.
We post out 5 days a week. Orders after 2pm will be dispatched the next working day. Royal Mails average delivery time during the global pandemic for 1st class is anywhere between 1-6 days. If your kit hasn't arrived within 6 days please contact us, as the post do lose things from time to time, and we will send replacements.
Prepaid Return Postage
Your kits contain prepaid return postage envelopes. Please pack these carefully and keep the outer envelope clean to save the poor posties from dealing with "horsey" envelopes. Normal 1,2,3,4 horse kits have a large letter first class stamp on, these can be posted in UK mailboxes or at post offices. Please note the post has different collection times at different post boxes, some are 9am and Saturdays are even earlier!
Pinworm tests are prepaid Royal Mail 1st class return, and can go in any UK mailbox.
Bulk horse kits have small parcel prepaid stamps on them. If you pack flat enough these can often slide into a post box, or else take them to your local post office.

Equisal tapeworm kits come with a prepaid freepost envelope to send your tubes directly back to Equisals testing lab (which is not the same location as the poopost lab). These bags can hold up to 10 samples and can be posted into post boxes or handed into post offices.

All our Poopost return prepaids are standard 1st class only, if you would like to add tracking, signature or special delivery you will need to pay additional charges yourself. We send them this way to keep costs down allowing us to keep our prices for you as low as possible.

International Orders & International Sample Returns
We are happy to chat with potential customers from other countries to try and work out solutions for you to return samples to us. Please get in touch either via facebook or email to have a chat about the best way we can get samples returned here within the 6 day time frame. We currently have customers from France, Ireland, Spain etc who use a variety of couriers & postal systems to return samples to us. If you can get it here to us we will test it! Speak to us today!
